Older Poem1Here I am,  Torn apart,  Giving you,  All I've got.  I wear my heart  Upon my sleeve.  Deadly silent steps I take,  Leaving sadness in my wake.  I never will forget  The times I had with you.  Now I see the sadness,  But in do  Time will always  Separate our hearts,  Leaving me alone.  Living in this wasteland now,  I see what you have done.  Now I truly see,  All the secrets you have weaved  Have finally come undone.

For lonelyFor lonely broken wings,  Let fly the winds;   
For against which those count,  Are among the first we doubt.   
Don't be so quick to judge  The path of the righteous,  Nor the path of the weak.   
Don't hide in your shadows,   
Don't jump in to the pits;  Resist confronting the enemy,  (Until you have the plan).   
Enduring souls have one choice;  Follow lonely broken path.   
Now hide within the light;  In plain view of all.  Those who see you  Should not be afraid;  And nor should you be  Of them.

Seems like lots of people I know are having life issues. I wish to help them, but I've changed myself.

I can't listen much to others' problems. I just can't. I've listened all my life and gotten dragged into something I can't escape.

My new motto:
"Don't ask someone else about it. Deal with it yourself."

Why the new outlook?
I'm kinda tired of being the listener.

My voice hasn't come out yet, because I want others to have their share time. They deserve it. But really, I don't hear much that they say.

Say that's mean.

I know it is.

But I'm done.

Really. If you want ears, cry to your parents....
